Holly Wreaths and Holly Boughs from Holley, Oregon

My side of the story
Burt Hotchkiss

Nonnie and I gave up the city life in 1976 for country living and have never looked back. We operate, what is now, the only Holly farm in Holley Oregon. A fairly casual life of nurturing and feeding the holly trees for most of the year, then running like crazy for three weeks right after Thanksgiving.

Donna, a long time friend and local florist, with her creative touch makes our beautiful holly wreaths. Sometimes I wish she wasn't so particular, but I guess that's how artists are. And we sure are proud of her creations. Our home and farm were featured in "Country Woman" book published in the fall of 2002. And in the Christmas issue
of "Country Woman" magazine in 2004.

We nurture the holly through the year. Come November, we harvest and package the holly for shipping. Where most growers start their harvest in October and store it until shipped, we cut just what we need for the day of shipping.

Our passion for the holly insures that everything shipped from our home to yours can be used to decorate with pride and will add to your joy of the hollidays. At the annual convention of Holly Society of America in Atlanta in 2002, we won three awards for the holly we ship to you and your friends.
